God does not ________________________.
Jesus did not ___________________________________.
Thirty golden moments is a summer challenge for you to get together with a few people or your whole family and talk about the passage for the week. It is a great way to be grow in God’s Word during the week, outside of the weekend service. Of course this is not meant to replace daily Bible reading and prayer - but it will help the message to ‘sink in’ to your heart and mind and transform your life into God’s good, pleasing, and perfect will (Romans 12:1-2)!
Read Galatians 2:11-21
Pertaining to point one:
How is Peter acting as a colonizer instead of a missionary?
Where have you seen colonization mixed with Christianity?
How can we continue to share the gospel without expecting people to abandon their heritage?
Pertaining to point Two:
Do you believe God is entirely good? Why or why not?
Why do people accuse God of promoting sin?
What do you think? Does God promote sin? Why or why not?
Pertaining to point Three:
What did Jesus die for?
How are we saved? Grace or works?
If we can be saved by our own effort than what did Jesus die for?
Jesus is the Son of God. If he came and suffered and died to save us - what does that say about God’s goodness? If He suffered on the cross to destroy sin, then is he a promoter of sin?
