Next Steps Generosity

Generosity

Look around you at Burnett…. What do you see??

People talking in the lobby or enjoying a cup of coffee; the Burnett worship team leading our weekend worship service; a first time guest receiving a book; children being cared for in the nursery or in Kingdom Kids; folks making sandwiches for downtown Vancouver; someone listening to the message and taking notes; students interacting with each other, a short term missions team getting ready to do a work project in a developing country... and lots more.

Each of these ministries is possible because Burnett members and attendees invest a portion of their finances (tithes and offerings) to make the mission of Burnett a reality. It has nothing to do with the law but everything to do with a grateful heart and a love for God.

Why should I give?

   - Giving helps me to grow in my faith.

   - Giving supports the ministries of Burnett

   - Giving allows me to be a part of God’s impact here in the Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows area and beyond.

One of the greatest measures of spiritual maturity is how we handle the resources that God has given us. Stewardship... honouring God with our finances... is a form of discipleship that will help you to become a fully developing follower of Jesus.
